This five-day event (Monday to Friday) will feature four days of engaging presentations, a midweek excursion on Wednesday, and a rich cultural programme, offering participants a chance to explore both the academic and historical treasures of Salamanca.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-weight: normal;\">We warmly invite scholars, researchers, and students working in any area of Celtic Studies to submit proposals for:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-weight: normal;\"><strong>20-minute papers<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-weight: normal;\"><strong>90-minute themed sessions<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-weight: normal;\"><strong>Poster presentations<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-weight: normal;\"><strong>Roundtables or workshops<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-weight: normal;\">Submissions should be sent to <strong>celticstudiescongress@usal.es<\/strong> with the subject line: <strong>\u201cAbstract [paper \/ poster \/ session \/ roundtable \/ workshop] + Last Name.\u201d<\/strong> You may submit up to two abstracts: one for a themed session and one as an individual contribution.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-weight: normal;\"><strong>Paper proposals<\/strong> should include: author\u2019s name, affiliation (if any), email address, paper title, and a 200\u2013300 word abstract. <strong>Deadline:<\/strong> 1 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">November 2026<\/span>. We expect to send notifications by 20 November 2026<\/span><span style=\"color: #e02b20;\">.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-weight: normal;\"><strong>Roundtables, themed sessions, and workshop proposals<\/strong> should include: organiser(s) name(s), affiliation(s), email address(es), title, and a 200\u2013300 word description. <strong>Deadline:<\/strong> 1 October 2026. <span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"color: #ff2600;\">At this stage, proposals only need to include a general overview of the session along with the participants&#8217; details.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #ff2600; font-size: large;\">If not all speakers have been decided\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #ff2600;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">by 1 October, please list them as \u00abTo Be Confirmed\u00bb (TBC). However, full contributor details must be confirmed by 1 November.
